Sealed Air "Pick and Pack Packaging Automation for Everyone" to Be Featured at PACK EXPO 2009

Hodgkins, IL (PRWEB) September 14, 2009 -- Fully integrated, full scale, state of the art packaging automation is now within reach for any high volume, pick and pack distribution center. I-Pack® and Ultipack® will be on display at Pack Expo 2009 on October 5-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth C-1535.

Both systems have a tray forming and a lidding module. In between, Ultipack® adds a corrugated wedge inserter to contain products for shipment, whereas I-Pack® adds a corrugated compression unit to eliminate the need for inner packaging materials altogether.

The systems are in operation across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, industrial supplies, books, CD and DVD, consumer electronics, office supplies, video games, lamps, and luxury watches.

For the pick and pack distributor, automation is as simple as making a phone call, Liebel explained. "Sealed Air does the legwork by conducting a comprehensive application audit for the user. We determine all equipment and integration specifications, provide samples, conduct testing, and project ROI."

I-Pack® and Ultipack® require no capital investment - a crucial benefit in today's economy. Customers are not charged for equipment or installation, but instead pay a cycle charge based on throughput.

I-Pack® and Ultipack® can be integrated with all ERP/WMS system software and any warehouse equipment, including conveyors, printers, scales, and sorters. The system can also operate in stand-alone mode.
